In January 2025, Binder Technologie GmbH puts a state-of-the-art semi-automatic FPI testing system into operation. This technical innovation enables us to test the quality and integrity of our components even more reliably at the highest level. By implementing this advanced testing technology, we are able to use two different test equipment systems efficiently. This enables us to check the quality of our products not only reliably but also extremely precisely.
Our new testing facility is equipped with two advanced test equipment systems, each offering specific advantages:
1. Testing system IAa Level 3: This water-washable testing agent impresses with its outstanding results in the detection of surface defects. It not only ensures environmentally friendly handling, but is also easy to clean and use. This allows us to carry out efficient tests without long downtimes. This is particularly important at a time when efficiency and sustainability go hand in hand.
2. Testing system IDa Level 3: For even more demanding inspection requirements, we rely on post-emulsifiable inspection equipment. This system enables deeper penetration and significantly improves the visibility of defects. This is particularly important for more complex components in the aviation industry, where maximum precision is required. With this system, we are ideally equipped to meet even the most challenging requirements of our customers.
The testing system is designed so that it can test components with a maximum length of 700 mm. This expansion of our capabilities opens up new perspectives and allows us to test a wider range of components. At the same time, we maintain the highest standards of quality assurance to ensure that our products meet our customers’ expectations.
By commissioning this state-of-the-art testing technology, we are sending a strong signal of our commitment to the highest quality and reliability in the production of complex aerospace components.
